- Several years ago, when i fell out of the traditional workplace, a New York Times article reported that women of my age would not get back in. After a period of reflection during which I ranted and drank a little, I used that article as a wake-up call. I started writing this blog, went back to school for an MFA, started teaching and writing, Writing, WRITING. Now I am a published playwright and a soon-to-be published novelist. My advice? You ain't dead until they close the lid. Keep on!
